LOOKING BACK AND LOOKING AHEAD
As we look back on all we have accomplished together this year, we are filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the incredible generosity and support of our donors that has made this possible. We launched the first Warming Center in the area and provided overnight shelter for the unhoused when temps dipped below 15°. We started formal case management services to help clients achieve goals of housing and employment and watched them benefit from the accountability of required monthly CM meetings. We become a Coordinated Entry access site propelling us into providing housing services and watched as several clients received housing. We launched a Transportation program that provides rides for essential needs and is growing each month. Over the summer, we did a large-scale renovation of the Program Center providing deeply needed upgrades and repairs. This included adding a suite of HIPPA compliant offices for case management and other client services as well as putting windows in the Day Center, new flooring in the food pantry, and adding commercial appliances in the kitchen. This fall we watched the need for food explode amidst a historic government shutdown and served more families than ever before, many of which were first-time recipients. Our annual Thanksgiving meal outreach increased by 25% as we delivered meals to 500 households.
As we look toward 2026 we are fueled by a sense of purpose to meet the needs of our community and help them grow into the best version of themselves possible and realize the best future for our community possible. Our goals for 2026 include strengthening our existing programs, expanding our new programs in case management, housing assistance, and transportation while also continuing to broaden the scope of our services. Our mission is to equip people with the tools and vision they need to lead themselves and their families in flourishing lives. To that end, our goal this year is to provide mental health services through an on-site counselor and facilitating addiction recovery programs. We are also looking to launch an employment skills program that will provide both soft-skills and hard skills with mentorship at the core to equip persons to obtain employment and/or maximize their potential in the workforce. We will be engaging our food pantry clients more than ever before, prompting them to utilize our services as we provide the wrap-around support they need. On a larger scale and a little further out, we hope to begin laying the groundwork for a sober-living/transitional housing program and seeing out Warehouse property utilized for community growth.
The bottom line is that none of this is possible without the generous contributions of our incredible donor base to this YEAR-END GIVING CAMPAIGN. This time last year, we outlined a vision for growth that included launching a warming center, case management, housing assistance, a transportation service, and other social services. We were able to do this and more as a result of the $120,000.00 we raised in 2024. Not only that, but the funds raised in our YYEAR-END GIVING CAMPAIGN fund the critical financial support that enables us to operate ALL the programs of HNH Ministries throughout the year. Will you consider and pray about making a substantial one-time gift to HNH Ministries so that we can continue to provide critical services to those that need it most in our community?
