Unhoused Services
Heart & Hand seeks to provide support and care for people who are experiencing homelessness. At the heart of this effort is the Day Center. In the Heart & Hand Day Center clients will find a hot meal and safety from the elements. Clients can take a warm shower and access laundry services.
Case Management
While in the Day Center, clients can access case management from one of Heart & Hand’s case managers. The case managers can help clients to access any social services that they may be entitled to. Case managers can also help clients to set goals that will help lift them out of their circumstances.
HUD Coordinated Entry Access Point
Heart & Hand is now an access point for HUD coordinated access. This allows Heart & Hand to help our clients get onto housing lists and to access funding. Coordinated Entry speeds up the process to find housing clients.
Winter Warming Center
During the cold weather months, Heart & Hand partners with the City of Belton to provide a warm place to stay over night when temperatures drop below 15 degrees or severe snow. Unhoused clients can spend the night.
