Beyond our regular programs, Heart & Hand delivers some annual programs to benefit our community. These programs are designed to provide additional support during particular seasons of need.
Back to School Bash
The Back to School Bash, is an annual event that Heart & Hand cosponsors with other agencies. Through the donations of the local community we are able to provide school supplies for every student in Belton. We begin taking donations in July and The Event takes place in early August. At the Back to School Bash, students are able to shop for all of their school supplies, including a backpack. We also have vendors from community organizations, food and games. |
Thanksgiving Meal Deliveries
On the Saturday before Thanksgiving Heart & Hand’s volunteers deliver Thanksgiving meals. Each dinner consists of a turkey, side dishes, dinner rolls, cranberry In 2025 we distributed over 500 thanksgiving meals to members of our community. Sign-ups will begin the first week in November to receive a meal and to volunteer for the event. |
Santa for Seniors
Clients and neighbors who have accessed our food pantry can request a gift bag for a senior relative or for themselves, if they are a senior. Friends of Heart & Hand can sign up to provide the gift bag. |
Christmas Toy Store
Our food pantry guests can sign up for their children to receive Christmas gifts. The final weekend before Christmas those who signed up will be invited to receive their gifts during a shopping appointment. |
